Christmas Services and Activities for 2010

Sunday 12 December at 4.30pm

Community Carols, Eastbourne Village, Rimu Street

Organized by the three local churches, this event features the Hutt City Titan Brass Band and in 2010 will be followed by a Twilight Market 5.00pm – 8.00pm

Christmas Eve at 5.00pm
Crib service

A 45 minute service for children, with carols, a Nativity play preformed by the Sunday clubs, and the blessing of the crib. Refreshments in the church grounds afterwards.

Christmas Eve at 11.30pm
Carols followed by Midnight Eucharist

Our festive celebrations begin with carols and readings. Then, at midnight, the bell is tolled and the church is made ready for the first Eucharist of the Christmas season.

Christmas Day at 9.30am

Family Eucharist

The whole family is invited to join us for this festive service. Gather with the angles and the shepherds as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. A children’s talk replaces the sermon.
